1 Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms")
apply to all members of The White Spa ("we", "us",
"our"). By becoming a member, you ("you", "the
Member") agree to comply with these Terms.
2.
Membership Start Date
- Your
membership agreement commences on the start date indicated on your
membership form.
- Joining
dates are from the 1st of each month.
- To
start on the 1st, your Direct Debit must be set up by the 10th of the
previous month.
- If you
wish to begin earlier, pro-rata payment must be made via cash or card
only.
3.
Eligibility
- You
must be 18 years or older to become a member of The White Spa.
- By
joining, you confirm that you are medically and physically able to safely
use our facilities. If you are not, we reserve the right to cancel or
suspend your membership.
4.
Membership Fees and Payment
- Your
monthly fee is based on the package selected and is payable by Direct
Debit or prepaid annually.
- Missed
Direct Debit payments incur a £15 administration fee.
- If a
payment fails, we will request payment via card or cash over the phone.
- Facility
access will be suspended until your account is up to date.
- If two
consecutive Direct Debit payments are missed, your membership will be automatically
cancelled.
- You
must cancel your own Direct Debit if you choose to terminate your
membership.
- We may
change your membership fee. You will be given at least one full
calendar month’s notice of any fee changes.
5. Freezing
Your Membership
- You
may freeze your membership for a period of 1 to 6 months for one of
the following reasons:
- Pregnancy
- Serious
illness or injury
- Redundancy
- Requests
to freeze must be made in writing to the Manager, with supporting
evidence.
- During
the freeze, Direct Debits will be paused. Membership resumes automatically
after the freeze ends.
6.
Cooling-Off and Cancellation
- You
may cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund.
- After
this period, cancellation requires one full calendar month's written
notice to the Manager.
- If you
cancel your membership, you must re-join the waiting list before
becoming a member again.
- If you
have prepaid for 12 months, the membership continues for the full term
unless frozen or cancelled per these Terms.
7. Conduct and Behaviour
We are committed to maintaining a respectful,
safe, and inclusive environment. We reserve the right to cancel your membership
immediately and without refund if you or your guests:
- Are
abusive to staff or other members
- Use
discriminatory, threatening, or violent language or behaviour
- Engage
in intimidating or unsafe conduct
- Vape
or smoke in the premises
8.
Communication and Contact Details
- We
will contact you using the email, postal address, or phone number
you provided.
- You
are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.
- If we
are unable to contact you due to incorrect or outdated details, we
may cancel your membership.
9. Changes
to Terms
- We
reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.
- You
will receive at least one full calendar month’s notice of any
material changes.
10.
Limitation of Liability
- The
White Spa is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused by
proven negligence.
- You
use our facilities at your own risk and are advised to consult your doctor
before beginning any treatment or exercise.
